Painted in 1904 by Frederick McCubbin, this magnificent and detailed triptych has been converted to another beautiful cross stitch 'classic'.
The three panels depict the various stages of the pioneer's life.
First arriving at his settlement, second, a small cottage in the background with his wife and young child, the third panel shows the pioneer kneeling by the grave of his wife. The colours are soft and the design is stunning.
Stitched in 16 count Antique White aida, the designs measure 37 x 58 cms, $74
